HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
All clinics are fee-for-service. Fees vary by both the type of care (cleaning, orthodontic, etc.) and the provider of the care (student clinic, dental faculty, speciality clinic, etc.).
Student Clinics
At the Student Clinics, current dental students provide dental care for patients, while supervised by the school's licensed faculty dentists.
While the Student Clinic charges the least, wait times will likely be longer than in the other clinics.
Call 734-763-6933 to make an appointment for a Student Clinic.
Graduate Specialty Clinics
At the Graduate Specialty Clinics, dentists with a DDS degree (or equivalent) provide dental care for patients. The dentists are either graduate students, specializing in a particular field of dentistry or a member of the faculty.
These clinics typically charge fees that are much less than a standard private dental clinic but more than the student clinics.
Dental Faculty Associates Clinic
At the DFA Clinic, faculty dentists provide dental care for patients. The dentists at the DFA are considered experts in their field.
The DFA fee schedule is similar to a private dental practice and most insurances are accepted.
Visit the Dental Faculty Associates Clinic or call 734-764-3155 to schedule an appointment.
HOW TO MAKE A PAYMENT
Payment for services or proof of insurance is required at the time of treatment.
Once a treatment plan has been developed and agreed upon by the provider, faculty and patient, payment arrangements can be made for some procedures. A signed treatment plan must be on file.

PATIENT EDUCATION
A visit to the dentist's office can be an intimidating experience. As with other medical disciplines, dentistry employs a vocabulary that may not be familiar to those outside the field. The Patient Education section strives to inform patients of dental terms and procedures.
In addition, the Patient Education has instructional videos on how to improve your dental health.

The students there were amazing. They were attentive to my tooth and understanding of my fear of the dentist. By far the best dentist experience I've ever had.

They worked so well with my special-needs son. They are patient and kind.
