Thank you for your interest in research at the School of Dentistry. The Office of Research can help facilitate the distribution of information to the labs.
To be considered for a volunteer position in a lab at Dentistry we will need you to provide the following information:
- Completed Cover Page
- Updated CV or Resume
Combine these items into a PDF (no more than 3 pages) and save it as Last_First_Month_Year and upload it to:

Submitted files that are not uploaded as a single PDF document will not be reviewed or considered.
Volunteer positions in the labs are managed by the faculty. Applications are reviewed monthly and if an applicant’s skills match the needs in the lab, you will be contacted. Volunteers should be residing close to campus (Ann Arbor / Greater Detroit and surrounding area) to be considered. The Office of Research cannot accept volunteer requests outside the US.
NOTE: The Office of Research does not keep track of what labs are looking for volunteers and cannot guarantee that by providing the information a volunteer position will be made available.
