Dr. Ulla Crouse is a native of Finland. She received her D.D.S. degree from the University of Kuopio, Finland in 1994. A year later she moved to the United States and continued her post-graduate studies at the University of Kentucky where she received her Ph.D. in Physiology and certificate in Orthodontics in 2001.

From 2001 until 2004 she was a part time faculty member and research fellow at the University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery, Department of Orthodontics. She has been an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Michigan since 2005. She has a private orthodontic practice in Brighton MI, where she lives with her husband, Brian, and their three children.
