BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Kenneth Kornman founded Interleukin Genetics, Inc. and serves as the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Periodontology. He has also been a Consultant and scientific researcher for many major oral care and pharmaceutical companies. Prior to that, he served as Department Chair and Professor at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He serves as a Member of the Scientific Advisory Board of Nutrilite Health Institute. He holds additional academic appointments at The University of Texas Health Science Center and Harvard University. Dr. Kornman holds six patents in the pharmaceutical area, has published three books and more than 100 articles and abstracts and has lectured and consulted worldwide on the transfer of technology to clinical practice. He earned his DDS from Emory University, Atlanta. Dr. Kornman also holds an MS in Periodontics from the University of Michigan, School of dentistry and a PhD in Microbiology-Immunology from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
