BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Junying Li is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Biologic and Materials Sciences & Prosthodontics, School of Dentistry, University of Michigan. He completed his Prosthodontics Residency training in 2015 at West China School of Stomatology, Sichuan University in China. During 2017-2018, he worked at the Department of Periodontology and Oral Medicine, University of Michigan School of Dentistry as a Dentsply Sirona Implant Fellow. He received his Ph.D. degree in Dental Medicine from West China School of Stomatology, Sichuan University in 2019. After graduating, he joined the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, Department of Periodontology and Oral Medicine as a Clinical Instructor. In 2021, Dr. Li joined in the Department of Biologic and Materials Sciences & Prosthodontics as a Clinical Assistant Professor. In addition to clinical practice and teaching activity, Dr. Li has been focusing on research of digital dentistry, especially on topics related to the computer-assisted implant surgery, virtual patient, and virtual articulator. He has published over 30 peer-reviewed articles on top dental implant and prosthodontics journals.
