BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Furat M. George received his dental degree from the University of Baghdad – College of Dentistry in 1998 and his prosthodontic specialty degree from the University of Michigan – School of Dentistry in 2007. He stayed from 2007 until 2021 as a full time faculty in the department of Biologic and Materials Sciences and Prosthodontics and was co-directing the pre-doctoral implant program. Dr. George serves on the School of Dentistry Implant committee and the Materials, Instruments, Forms, and Fees committee. Dr. George is a member of the American College of Prosthodontists, a member of the International Association for Dental Research and the American Association for Dental Research, and a fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. His research interests are in the field of dental implants, dental ceramics and the utilization of CAD/CAM technology in dentistry and research. Dr. George's practice in Farmington Hills, MI is limited to prosthodontics and dental implants. He has multiple published articles and abstracts in scientific journals and meetings and he serves as a reviewer on multiple scientific journals.
