BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Johnson grew up in Logan, Utah. Shortly after high school he spent two years as a missionary in Uruguay and speaks fluent Spanish. Upon his return from South America, he returned to Utah State University and completed his Bachelors degree in Biology, obtained a Masters in the field of Education, and taught high school for several years before entering dental school in Cleveland, Ohio. At Case Western Reserve University, Dr. Johnson held leadership positions and was awarded for his academic success. From Cleveland, Dr. Johnson and his young family moved to Ann Arbor, Michigan, after being accepted into the University of Michigan Orthodontic residency program.

Even after thirteen years of attending a university, Dr. Johnson still enjoys teaching, and has accepted a position to teach twice a month as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Michigan department of Orthodontics.

Dentistry seems to be a common theme in the Johnson household as his wife, Bridgett, is also a licensed Dental Hygienist. Their family is their pride and joy and consists of two boys (Hyatt and Porter) and two girls (Abigail and Sydney). Apart from wrestling with his little ones, Dr. Johnson enjoys other hobbies including a wide variety of sports, hiking, acting, playing guitar, singing, composing, and arranging music. His time is also filled with volunteering for various nonprofit organizations and his church.
